Sharab Bandi Sangharsh Samiti was established in 2015, one year before Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, declared a complete ban on alcohol in 2016. Recognizing its impact, the Chief Minister of Bihar himself felicitated Shri Murtaza Ali for his dedicated efforts toward the Alcohol-Free India movement.
