Team Lucknow is the dedicated disaster response unit of Peace Education Charitable Trust, operating across India. While based in Lucknow, the team mobilizes nationwide to provide rapid relief and rehabilitation to citizens affected by natural and man-made disasters.

In 2018, the state of Kerala experienced one of the most devastating floods in its history, affecting millions of people and causing widespread damage across several districts. In response to this humanitarian crisis, our Team Lucknow-based volunteer team was formed and mobilized to support relief and rehabilitation efforts in the flood-affected regions.
Our team actively participated in relief activities across various districts of Kerala, including Alappuzha, Kochi, Kollam, and Thiruvananthapuram. Working alongside local authorities, social organizations, and community volunteers, we contributed to the distribution of essential supplies, support for affected families, and other humanitarian assistance initiatives.
This mission reflected our commitment to social service, compassion, and community support during times of crisis. The experience strengthened our belief in the power of collective action and reinforced our dedication to helping communities in need.

In 2019, severe floods and landslides once again affected several parts of Kerala, particularly the regions of Wayanad and Malabar. Heavy rainfall caused extensive damage to homes, infrastructure, and livelihoods, leaving thousands of families in urgent need of assistance.
Responding to this crisis, our Team Lucknow-based volunteer team extended its humanitarian efforts to the affected areas. The team worked in coordination with local communities, relief agencies, and volunteers to provide support to displaced families and assist in relief and recovery activities.
Our volunteers participated in the distribution of essential supplies, community assistance programs, and rehabilitation support for affected residents. Through dedication and teamwork, we aimed to bring hope and relief to communities facing difficult circumstances.
This mission further strengthened our commitment to humanitarian service and disaster response, demonstrating the importance of unity and compassion during times of crisis.

In 2026, a devastating fire incident in Vikas Nagar, Lucknow, destroyed the homes of nearly 300 families, leaving hundreds of people without shelter and basic necessities. Responding swiftly to the crisis, Team Lucknow launched an emergency relief and rehabilitation mission to support the affected community.
Beyond providing immediate relief, Team Lucknow took a significant step toward long-term recovery by helping 50 affected families re-establish their lives. The team provided essential household items and rehabilitation support, enabling families to restart their lives with dignity and hope.
The assistance included food supplies, drinking water, clothing, blankets, quilts (Rajai), gas stoves, beds, kitchen utensils, and other household essentials required for daily living. Through dedicated volunteer efforts and community support, Team Lucknow stood alongside the victims during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
